Meeting increased demand for solutions that accelerate customization and time to deployment, Kontron TRACe™ baseline transportation computer is now available through Arrow Electronics

Augsburg, Germany, September 30, 2015 – Kontron, a global market leader for embedded computing technology (ECT), today announced that its TRACe™ HMID104-CK EN50155-certified fanless operational panel PC display is in production.   Kontron’s advanced touch-screen HMI offers a flexible COTS-based unified design approach that maximizes interoperability and enables train control system developers to quickly adapt functionality to different application needs. These benefits translate into the ability to reduce development costs, speed development of individual systems, and dramatically shorten time to market.
 
The Kontron TRACe™ B304-TR transportation operational computer is now available for distribution through Arrow Electronics.  Arrow’s broad transportation market support is important in helping Kontron meet increased rail customer demand for embedded computing solutions that help developers ease customization and accelerate time to deployment of new specialized applications and infrastructures.  Integrator-friendly, the TRACe™ B304-TR offers a baseline computer enabling railway system integrators and designers to address the full breadth of modern, connected rolling stock applications permitting multiple applications to run on the same platform.
