Court appointment of three new Supervisory Board members at Kontron AG

Augsburg, December 6, 2016 – Kontron AG, a leading global provider of Embedded Computer Technology (ECT), announces that Mr. Richard Neuwirth, Mr. Michael Jeske and Mr. Michael Roider, were appointed by court to the Supervisory Board with effect of December 2, 2016.

Mr. Richard Neuwirth is a lawyer and holds a degree in business administration. He started his career at a law firm in Vienna. Since 2006, Richard Neuwirth has been working for S&T AG, where he held various positions, amongst others as Managing Director of S&T Bulgaria and Sales/Managing Director of S&T Austria. In June 2013, Mr. Neuwirth was appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer of S&T AG. He has a profound knowledge in the areas of finance and accounting, as well as experience in the turnaround management of technology corporations and the successful restructuring of companies.

Mr. Michael Jeske is an electrical engineer. He was working for Kontron AG for many years in various management positions in the development and operations area, most recently as VP Operations. Mr. Jeske has many years of management experience in the IT industry with a focus on R&D, production and quality assurance. Prior to his appointment to the Management Board of S&T AG (COO) in mid-2009, he was CEO of Quanmax AG and COO of Funworld AG.

Mr. Michael Roider has a degree in engineering with  focus on electrical engineering (specialized field of microelectronics).Since June 2014 he is head of the development department at Roding Embedded GmbH, a subsidiary of s&t embedded GmbH. Mr. Roider held  leadership positions for many years in hardware development, initially at Rolf Obler Industrial Electronics (ROI, 1998-2003), and after the acquisition at Kontron (2003-2014). He has many years of experience in the IT and ECT industry and is therefore very familiar with the sector.
