Today, the connection from the sensor device to the embedded cloud takes place via real-time data communication, on sensor and edge level - for example Industrial Ethernet or fieldbuses - and gateways , which provide the transformation of real time data into the informational area.

Successful completion of cash capital increase
Kontron AG increased its share capital by 10% to € 61,251,325.00 against cash contributions excluding subscription rights
Augsburg, April 27, 2017 – Kontron, a leading global provider of Embedded Computing Technology (ECT), successfully completed its cash capital increase on April 24, 2017 with the entry in the competent commercial register at the Amtsgericht Augsburg. This capital increase in cash served the generation of additional liquidity.
Based on the „Authorized Capital 2015“, created by the shareholders’ meeting 2015, and with consent of the supervisory board, the share capital of Kontron AG was increased from currently € 55,683,024.00 by € 5,568,301.00 to € 61,251,325.00 against cash contributions. This was executed by issuance of 5,568,301 new bearer shares (the „New Shares“) having a pro rata amount of the share capital of € 1.00 per share with dividend right as of 1 January 2016. Excluding subscription rights of the existing shareholders the New Shares were subscribed for a subscription price of € 3.02 by S&T Deutschland Holding AG, Ismaning, holding currently approx. 36,3 % of the share capital of Kontron AG. Kotnron AG cashed in approx. € 16.8 million (gross) from this capital increase.
