Today, the connection from the sensor device to the embedded cloud takes place via real-time data communication, on sensor and edge level - for example Industrial Ethernet or fieldbuses - and gateways , which provide the transformation of real time data into the informational area.

FieldWorks Seeks Reseller Partners for New VAR Support Program; Names Michael J. Englund Channel Director
FieldWorks STAR program offers training, technical and sales support for participating value-added resellers
Eden Prairie, Minn., June 5, 2000 - FieldWorks, Inc. (NasdaqSC: FWRX), a leading solution provider and mobile computer supplier for demanding field applications, today announced the launch of a new program designed to assist value-added resellers that sell, integrate or service FieldWorks products.
The FieldWorks Strategic Alliance Reseller (STAR) Program involves order referrals, sales and technical support, special marketing programs, onsite training, and preferred pricing and payment terms for qualifying value-added resellers. FieldWorks now is recruiting additional resellers to add to the roster of those now participating in the STAR Program. FieldWorks today also announced the appointment of Michael J. Englund to the position of channel director, with responsibility for developing and managing the STAR Program and the companys expansion of channel coverage across its markets. Englund brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and channel management to the position.
