Kontron AG announces changes in its Supervisory Board

Eching near Munich, 01 July 2014 – Kontron AG, a leading global provider of Embedded Computer Technology (ECT), announces the resignation of Lars Singbartl from the Supervisory Board of Kontron AG effective 30 June 2014.
Management Board and Supervisory Board of Kontron AG have decided unanimously to file an application for the appointment of Harald Joachim Joos as court-appointed Supervisory Board member until the next Annual General Meeting of the company.
Mr Joos has been a senior advisor for Warburg Pincus Deutschland GmbH since 2009. He graduated with a degree in engineering before starting his career at IBM Germany. In 1994, he was appointed German head of Schindler Deutschland Holding GmbH, before joining A. Stihl AG & Co as CEO in 2002. He later accepted a position with Demag Cranes AG and was instrumental in taking the company public. Mr Joos holds various Supervisory Board mandates.
