Kontron America Receives AS 9100 Certification

Latest Certification Reinforces Kontron’s Commitment to Quality

San Diego (August 8, 2006) – Kontron America announced today that it has been certified to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for the AS 9100 certification for the aerospace industry. In addition, Kontron was recertified for the ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard. These certifications continue Kontron’s commitment to providing the most consistent and highest quality products and services, while continually improving all of its business functions.

Kontron amplified its existing commitment to quality by achieving AS 9100. This certification standard takes ISO 9001:2000 and adds the additional requirements that are paramount for ensuring quality components for the aerospace industry.
