Q2 Hits All-Time High of $32 million with $60 Million Due to Ship by Years End
San Diego (August 4, 2006) Kontron announced its highest quarter to date with its Q2 (April June) closing at a record $32 million in revenues. Setting itself up for another record quarter, Kontron also created a substantial backlog totaling $59.7 million scheduled for delivery by the end of the calendar year.
Kontron continues to gain brand recognition as the leader in the embedded industry, said Thomas Sparrvik, CEO and president of Kontron America. This shows in the confidence our customers place in us to continually deliver our products to them.

In addition to setting a record quarter, Kontron also set a company record for revenues and bookings for the month of June. With June revenues topping $15.9 million and bookings totaling $22 million, Kontron has set the bar for an outstanding fiscal-year 2006.
We could not have had this successful a quarter without the hard work, commitment and dedication of our staff, continued Sparrvik. Additionally, we were able to roll out products because our suppliers and distributors met our challenge to them. It is because of the teamwork between our staff and our supply chain that we were able to have such a tremendous month and quarter.
