KONTRON ENTERS ATCA MARKET WITH COMPREHENSIVE TELECOM PLATFORM OFFERING

Kontron partners with leading applications software, operating systems and middleware vendors to offer turnkey platform

CHICAGO, IL - June 21, 2004 - Kontron, a market leader in embedded computing technology, today unveiled its Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture platform, signaling its intention of taking a leadership role in the adoption and deployment of the new carrier grade system standard. Using the annual SUPERCOMM Show as backdrop for the announcement, Kontron rolled out its AdvancedTCA platform complete with Kontron system chassis, high performance ATCA processing blades and high-availability base fabric switches.
