Edge, fog and cloud applications demand increasing computing power. The interfaces to sensors or machines often require non-standard solutions. Especially in smaller machines, space is limited or restricted in some dimension and need a special solution.
Today, the connection from the sensor device to the embedded cloud takes place via real-time data communication, on sensor and edge level - for example Industrial Ethernet or fieldbuses - and gateways , which provide the transformation of real time data into the informational area.

Kontron Shanghai Rugged Mobile Products Road Show Shanghai/Beijing/XiAn China
To Promote and Concrete Kontron Brand/Products Position in China
Hot July, Hot Show - Kontron Shanghai Co. Ltd., China Headquarter of Kontron Group, held a successful series of 2002 Kontron Mobile Computer Product and Application Road Show, from 12 to 18 July 2002. All mobile family members were presented at the road show, newest ReVolution, MDS EnVoy, FieldWorks 8000 workstation, handheld FieldLite and industrial notebook Powerlite.
The road show has been held in three main cities of China, on July 12 in Shanghai, July 16 in Beijing and July 18 in XiAn. It received over 60(Shanghai)/ 100(Beijing)/ 120(XiAn) attendees from defense, avionic, police, fire and emergency service, telecommunication, utilities companies, automation, institutes and other industries.
Attendees to the half-day session had a brief introduction of Kontron Group, and intensive product/ application presentation of Kontron Rugged Mobile Computers, Mobile Database Server, and Wireless/ Remote communication.
With years of experience in rugged mobile computer industry, Kontron promoted the first ruggedized notebook/ tablet PC at the road show. Modulized features make it suitable for indoor and field application. All mobile products attract the attendees interest.

These are the two big events of Kontron Shanghai in the second part of 2002, to present the group and the product family to the customers with the state-of-art technology.
