It is suggested that participants empty their computer´s temporary cache beforehand to successfully connect to the interactive show.

About the Speakers
Featured speakers for both web seminars are Rich Tehrani, president and group publisher of TMC; Chris Rezendes, vice president and general manager of ICS Advent; and Dave Spencer and Mark Manto, product marketing managers at Dialogic.

Tehrani is an industry visionary who has led the telecommunications publishing and trade show market for nearly a decade - before it was trendy to be in communications, now the fastest growing segment of our economy. In the last five years alone, he was responsible for launching ten pioneering educational resources, including three magazines, six trade shows and the leading communications technology portal, TMCnet.com. It is estimated that the properties with which Tehrani is involved influence more than one million high technology professionals every month. It is Tehrani´s goal to educate those interested in communications by whatever means possible and this new video format makes it easy for users to increase their awareness of the latest technologies in an interactive manner without having to leave their office.

Rezendes is leading ICS Advent in its market expansion to include open communications systems (OCS) solutions, such as IP telephony, telecommunications, voice processing and broadcasting/convergence. He focuses on the world class CT and IP Telephony platform integration market by identifying strategic business development opportunities. Prior to joining ICS Advent, he was vice president at Venture Development Corporation, a technology market research and consulting firm, where he was responsible for creating and managing practices in embedded systems, high availability computing, telecommunications infrastructure, mobile computing, wireless communications and automatic identification technologies.

At Dialogic, Dave Spencer oversees products developed for network signaling applications worldwide. These products provide the foundation for solutions that Dialog

ic strategic partners integrate into a wide variety of customer care and customer interaction management solutions. Spencer joined Dialogic from Rockwell Electronic Commerce where he was senior product manager for CTI middleware. Spencer´s experience also includes 12 years in Sales and Marketing positions with both Rockwell and AT&T Global Information Solutions.

Mark Manto manages the Dialogic" voice analog product suite with a primary focus on mid- to high-level enterprise market segments. Since joining Dialogic, he has managed the rollout of the media processing line cards for the enterprise base messaging and response market segments. Prior to joining Dialogic, Manto had worked as a Data Communications Consultant for Johnson & Higgins and R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company. Most recently, he worked for BellSouth Wireless Data in both the Professional Services organization and Product Marketing.

Converged Communications
The power of voice and data together has never been so evident as in today´s next generation voice portal and VoIP open system solutions. As the lines between analog switching and IP networks fade, a whole new set of exciting applications has arisen, allowing businesses to web-enable more of their services. Now that e-commerce is joined by m-commerce, the ability to execute and manage web based transactions from mobile computing and communications devices, developers have many more options for building feature rich applications.

Voice portals and VoIP technologies provide decided advantages to companies deploying them as part of their customer relationship management, supply chain management, sales force automation and broad range of applications in next generation network infrastructure.

"ICS Advent is committed to continue providing the resources to keep our customers educated on industry trends by offering these web seminars," said Chris Rezendes, vice president and general manager, ICS Advent. "We recognize that voice portals are one of today´s hottest converged communications technologies providing anywhere, anytime access to Web-based information using any telephone and simple voice commands. We are pleased to team up with Dialogic and TMC to present the most up-to-date information about this topic."
