Technical Sales Manager France (m/f/d)

You just graduated and would like to start your career in a technical sales position with an international group world leader in its market. You want to act as a business manager, able to work independently and creatively focused on business development and customer loyalty & retention.

OUR OFFER:

- 6 to 12 months trainee program at our head office in Munich (Germany):

  • opportunity to discover all the company's departments, especially our sales support, sales, product management and project management departments
  • Training on products, methods for calculating costs, prices and margins, drafting technical and commercial offers, and tools (SAP, CRM, Quote tool, Sales Navigator,...)

 

- Following this trainee program, you return to France and start your position as technical sales manager

  • First 2-3 years: Develop business and relationship with partners, distributors, and Value Added Resellers (VARs)
  • Gradually, we will broaden your scope and offer you the opportunity to acquire new direct key accounts and/or take responsibility for existing key accounts in France

 

Your duties

  • focus on business development and customer loyalty & retention
  • Acquisition
  • Opportunity management: qualification, quote and closing (Design Win)
  • Contract negotiation (Logistic, Quality, Sales and Supply Terms and Conditions
  • Coordinate project with sales support, product management and project management departments

Skills required

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering or similar field, with a strong interest in sales and business
  • Alternatively, bachelor's degree in business administration with a passion for hardware and software in computer technology, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), etc.
  • Native French speaker with good communication skills in English (German is a plus but not required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Flexibility to work from either a Kontron Group entity or home office in the Paris area
  • Willingness to Travel (20% of time) to build strong relationships with partners and customers
