Motherboards supporting the 9th Gen. Intel® Core™ i Processors

With excellent performance and features, the new Kontron motherboards “Designed by Fujitsu” are state of the art. They are based on the Intel® Coffee-Lake platform and, with an extensive BIOS update, enable the use of the new 9th generation Intel®processors based on the proven Fujitsu design. The refresh with the first eight-core processor in the LGA1151 socket means an increase in performance through an optimization of the processor technology and allows up to 5GHz clock frequency in the top model with Intel® Core™ i9-9900K processor. The Kontron motherboards are equipped with chipsets of the Intel®-300 series and have been designed for a long-term and continuous operation (24/7). The entire motherboard portfolio is "Made in Germany". This includes development as well as production based on a stable supply chain. Kontron also offers technical support directly from Augsburg, Germany. For customers from Europe, the same time zone and the associated fast communication channels are a great advantage.

Kontron provides two board versions: Motherboards of the Extended Lifecycle Series are available for 36 months. They are particularly suitable for semi-industrial applications, like kiosk systems (Point-of-Sales), ticket machines or interactive displays. Motherboards of the Industrial Series have a lifecycle of seven years and support the 9th generation Intel® Core™ processors up to 98W. They are suitable for use under rough conditions and in an extended temperature range up to 60°C as well as in dust and vibrations. 

Following the acquisition of the Fujitsu Mainboard Business, Kontron has aligned the lifecycle of most motherboards "Designed by Fujitsu", which support the 9th generation Intel® Core™ i processors, to the Kontron roadmap. The motherboards listed below are now available for two more years.
