Maintenance free embedded Box PC
The KBox A-202, based on Kontron's SMARC-sXBTi, is a maintenance-free Industrial Computer Platform specifically designed as an entry-level gateway box.
The maintenance-free design of the KBox A-202 includes a fanless, battery free and soldered memory (memory down) conception, which makes the KBox the ideal all-lockable Industrial Computer Platform for the industrial environment.
Based on the Intel Atom® E3845 technology and the maintence-free design, Kontron´s IoT ready KBox A-202 increases the flexibility, serviceability and cost efficiency for various applications, such as industrial automation, communication or transportation, guaranteeing permanent operation.
Due to its compact design and several mounting options such as DIN RAIL, desktop or cabinet mounting you can install the KBox A-202 nearly everywhere. Also important for use in harsh environments is an extended temperature range (-40°C to 55°C) and shock resistance up to 15G.
